Miss Northern Ireland 2010 Lori Moore has just won the Miss World 2010 Sports competition to become the 2nd semi-finalist. The first semi-finalist was Yara Liz Lasanta of Puerto Rico who also won the Beach Beauty Fast Track. Lori Moore was born in 1991. She is a student from Belfast, Northern Ireland. Lori Moore, who was crowned Miss Northern Ireland 2010 at the Finale held at the Europa Hotel in Belfast, is the first woman of black heritage to be crown Miss Northern Ireland. She stands at 1.70m.
The 20 finalists come from Australia, Cayman Islands, Brazil, Botswana, Canada, Finland, Guyana, Ireland, Hungary, Iceland, Mongolia, Martinique, Paraguay, Northern Ireland, Norway, Slovakia, US Virgin Islands, St Kitts & Nevis, Wales, and Turkey.

The 19 year-old winner became Miss World 2010′s 2nd semi-finalist after Yara Liz Lasanta of Puerto Rico who won the Beach Beauty Fast Track.
Miss World Sports was held at Sheraton, Sanya on October 22 while Miss World Beach Beauty was held at Mandarin Oriental three preceding days. The winner of Miss World Beach Beauty was Puerto Rico’s Yara Lasanta. The first and second runner-ups belonged to United States’ Alexandria Mills and Norway’s Mariann Birkedal.
First runner-up: Marína Georgievová Marína Georgievová (18, 173cm, 5\’8″ from Banská Bystrica) is a beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Slovensko 2010 title.
2nd runner-up: Miss Norway World 2010 Mariann Birkedal represented Norway in Miss World 2010 pageant.
